- Can be used from sowing to harvesting, including inter-row tillage
- Perceivable immediate savings and extra yield
- Direct and immediate steering
- For tractors prepared to hydraulic steering
- Automatic steering with +/- 2 cm accuracy
- Compatible with previous LD-Agro row guidance systems
- Autopilot utilizing existing elements
The biggest advantage of the LD-Agro SteerReady autopilot is the accuracy. However, it is also important that the use of automatic steering system relieves the machine operator from the task of staying on the track and this way more precise work can be achieved. The automatic steering does not “get tired" and its performance does not worsen, neither in the 12th hour of the shift. Using au autopilot, you can work regardless of weather conditions and the time of day, always at the right time. All of these benefits lead to the increased land performance, so the price of the agricultural machine control is quickly recovered, after which you can only benefit from its use.
Tractors, combines, self-propelled sprayers proceed along straight and curved tracks with ±2 cm accuracy without human intervention. The automatic steering results in more precise work, relieves the tractor operator from workload, so he can take care of the quality of work. For automatic steering, time of day and visibility conditions do not matter, the work is performed accurately and cost-effectively 24 hours a day! Using the autopilot in case of sown crops, the distance of tramlines may also be perfectly accurate.
If your machines already have relevant components, you should build on existing elements! In machines factory-prepared for automatic steering, the hydraulic block and other elements have already been installed, so their subsequent integration does not increase the procurement costs. Due to quick reacting this machine control can also be used with high accuracy in hilly areas and for such work operations, during which the machine may drift.
The LD-Agro agricultural machine control is compatible with other machine control as, for example, Case AccuGuide Ready, New Holland IntelliStear Ready, John Deere Autotrac Ready, AGCO AutoGuide2, Fendt AutoSteer Ready, etc. types.
In case of prepared machines, we use for the agricultural machine control as much factory elements as possible (hydraulic control valve, wheel angle sensor, steering wheel sensor, etc.). The LD-Agro ECU central control unit provides the interconnection of all elements necessary for the automatic steering, and the precise control. This central unit receives and processes GPS signals, and with the help of sensors of built-in compass, 9-axis gyroscope and accelerometer corrects the tilt angle.
On the display of the LD-Agro LineGuide 800 agricultural GPS you can see the track line and can set the required parameters, also you can pass the automatic steering to the autopilot. Also the automatic steering can be passed to the autopilot using an optional foot switch, so during work you do not need to touch the monitor of the row guidance system.
The LD-Agro SteerReady automatic steering system works with free EGNOS signals achieving the pass-to-pass accuracy of 0-20 cm, but in this case, the biggest advantage of direct hydraulic steering - its outstanding accuracy is lost. Therefore, for tractors prepared for agricultural machine control we recommend the GeoD20 GPS-based receiver having +-2 cm accuracy, with reception of RTK correction signals.
A tractor equipped with an agricultural machine control in all circumstances is capable of keeping the machine on the ideal track with the accuracy of +-2 cm. Thus, the autopilot can be used in all work operations, whether it is tillage, spraying chemicals or distributing fertilisers. At the same time, certain works can be carried out only with the help of automatic steering system, such as sowing and inter-row tillage.
